another wierd build of mine
binding chains
destructive was glaive
spirit rift
channeled strike
optional
optional
augury of death
rez sig
12+1+3 chan
9+1communing
9 deadly
first move close to your target.
cast binding chains followed by aurgury of death
run as close as you can get and cast spirit rift and channeled strike, both hitting for around 150 damage each.
you will teleport to your foe which will activate DwG and deepwound, which should kill your foe.
edit:the only counters to the spike is pre-protting, the full damage hits at exactly the same time, so the target shouldnt be able to be healed
some screens to show my point.

using this build in RA now,
got bored of monk, but since monks are very scarce, I'm stuck with rit ..

Basically a healing rit with Warmongers as aid for the dumb sins/warriors

I dunno, dumb wammos always go straight to the monk anyway and Warmonger's is about twice as useful as the entire rest of their skillbar.

Ah, I see it now, my bad.
And in terms of warmonger's, I'm not entirely sure of how useful it would be. I guess it depends if you get the type of dumb warriors that gang-rape monks (better) or the dumber warriors who try and duel other warriors (useless).

Being able to keep an entire team at -7 degen is quite something, and is great pressure on the monks in RA too.
If you can land a D-shot on Dismiss, it's pretty much GG if the rest of your team is competant.
Downsides are the fact Barbed only lasts 18 seconds and is easily interupted, but using it while under Natural Stride and not under fire can help you keep it up most of the time.

Its actually not that bad, the problem is barbed arrows has that pointless drawback on it that izzy has failed to realize should be removed, but beyond that 7 partywide degen is quite decent, and really any good ranger who has self condition removal + degen spread + intterupts is a good addition.
What I dont like about that build is that Substituting troll for Screaming shot in a standard burning arrow build is far better.

Deadly paradox has been nerfed to death now: 15 energy cost -_-, no need to worry about that anymore.

Minor obstacle. I made it to 18 wins today (RA) with a caster sin. You just need to adjust to a new situation, no more spam fest.

LOL another crybaby. It's not the only thing I play, I like my ranger the most but it's fun to run something abusive sometimes. I love how people cry about being killed with it, thats all.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious here.
I've played against these guys in RA quite a bit recently, and they are pretty limited (read: bad, a good player could do much more on a better character). Augury of Death is pretty nice, always love a Deep Wound. Dancing Daggers? Sure ok, it goes through Blind and Guardian which seems a bit weird but it's hardly overpowered...
Why SoJ? Like... I was sat there for a few seconds thinking... why the hell does this assassin keep using SoJ seemingly at random on me, for very little damage?

Chain with Asp for free KD. Deadly stuff when you know there is a Deep Wound coming for you and you can't get up for 4 seconds.

The annoying-ass knockdown is it, really. I'm not sure if there are other elites that would synergize better, especially since DP costs 15 energy now.

If the SoJ sin is really retarded, he will also bring iron palm.
have fun with 3 easy kd on a bar while having diversion, shame... or on you. Of course you can bring balance stance, but that is useless vs other stuffs.
In TA, it's easy to counter. But in RA, 90% of those idiots know nothing but to "sm4ck t3h m0nk," at least in AD.
Sometimes when I played for fun, I wondered while the players got extremely shitty at that time. Then I discovered that I was in AD. But ID is getting to that.
